The Silver Cap Classique 2012 blends hand-harvested Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from the Western Cape, crafted in the traditional method of bottle fermentation, known locally as Cap Classique. Secondary fermentation in the bottle creates fine bubbles and complexity, while 24 months on the lees imparts texture and depth. Aromas of fresh brioche and delicate yeast lead to a palate of bright citrus, refreshing acidity and refined balance. With 12% alcohol and a crisp, clean finish this vintage Cap Classique is both vibrant and elegantly poised.
