Repolishing & Repairs
We pride ourselves on producing functional art with premium materials and expert craftsmanship, ensuring the longevity of our products throughout generations.
Should you wish to restore your products’ original shine and have them looking like new again, our Repolishing and Repairs Department offers professional mechanical polishing and repairs at a nominal fee.
Simply book in your item at one of our stores, or courier your item to our Head Office in Cape Town for the attention of the Repairs Department. Please ensure that you include complete and correct contact details with your repair request.
Repolishing
We can restore the shine and brilliance of products made from stainless steel, aluminium, or pewter.
Exception: We are unable to repolish plated materials such as chrome-plated, aluminium-plated, bronze, and copper items.
Based on the condition of the item brought in for repolishing, we cannot guarantee that the item will be returned to its original standard. This includes, but is not limited to:
- Pitting marks
- Scuffed surfaces due to erosion
- Water damage
- Aged products affected by erosion
This service is completed at Head Office by our production specialist. As such, we may need to transport the product in order to assess the damage before any work is actioned.
Repairs
Kindly note the following for repairs:
- Indicate to our Brand Ambassador in-store, or via phone to our Repairs Department at Head Office, if you require a quote beforehand.
- Whilst we can repair most items, if a pewter item breaks, we cannot repair it due to the low melting point of pewter.
- Stoneware items are not repairable.
- When enquiring whether a repair is possible, please attach photos of the item as a whole, as well as close-up images of the problem area, for a quote.
- Lead times for repairs and repolishing are 6 to 8 weeks.
