‘In Good Hands’ began with a vision of what it feels like to be in good hands with the people you love and be entirely cared for. This vision is translated into a full-body figurative sculpture in aluminium: two arms in a complete embrace, wrapped around whatever is placed inside.
Multiple bottles of champagne can fit inside it, perfectly chilled, perfectly presented, and framed by a sculpture that makes the uncorking feel like the beginning of something worth toasting. And when the last bottle has been finished, ‘In Good Hands’ finds its second life as a vase that can hold a generous bunch of flowers.
