Mug Set Of 4 - Enticing

The enticing mug set of 4 celebrates the beauty and organic splendour of the colour indigo. More specifically, it venerates the lives and livelihoods of North-West African nomads called the Tuareg tribe. On a trip to Morocco, Carrol Boyes encountered this tribe and became captivated by their love for the colour indigo, which they used to decorate their clothing, hair and bodies. The dye used to make the colour is derived from the leaves of indigenous parasitic shrubs and in some parts of Africa, these leaves were regarded as more valuable than currency. These designs are lovingly referred to as the Indigo Girls.
